About School of Military Intelligence (SMI)

School of Military Intelligence was raised on 15 May 1978 at Dhaka Cantonment. It was relocated to Cumilla Cantonment on 11 July 1981. This institute imparts training on intelligence to the members, officers and other ranks of Bangladesh Armed Forces, para military forces and officers of our friendly countries.

Objectives

To impart intelligence training to officers / junior commission officer / other ranks.

To instil insight with sound intelligence skills for inter services and other national organization.

Courses Offered

Basic Intelligence Course

To train selected officers of Armed Forces on basic intelligence aspects.
