About Mechanical Transport Driving School

MTDS BAF is a training Institute conducting Mechanical Transport (MT) Driving and Maintenance Course round the year. The institute was established in 1977 to train BAF personnel regarding Mechanical Transport (MT) vehicle operation & maintenance. The unit also provides Trade Training Basic, Trade Training Advance, Senior Trade Course and MT Driving Course to BAF personnel of various trades. The institute provides training to the trainees of BAF, BN & Airmen from abroad as a versatile training institute. MTDS is located at Shamshernagar, Moulvibazar

Objectives

01
To provide MT vehicle operation and maintenance training to BAF Airmen of Mechanical Transport Operator and Fitter (MTOF), Provost and Ground Combater (GC) trade.

To provide MT vehicle operation and maintenance training to personnel from sister services and abroad military forces.

To coordinate with other training institutes related to MT vehicle training

To execute any other instruction given by Air Headquarters.
