About Medical Assistant Training School

The Medical Assistant Training School started its activities in 1976 under the administrative authority of BNS ISSA KHAN. It was then shifted under supervision of BNS PATENGA since 01 January 1990.

Objectives

To enable the medical assistants to provide first aid and management.

To make them able to manage/repair minor injury.

To train them to carry out all medical and administrative duties in the hospital/sickbay.

Petty Officer (Medical) Qualifying Course PO(MED) ‘Q’

To train medical personnel to carry out medical duties
