About Engineering School
Engineering School provides basic and advanced training to Engineering and Shipwright branch sailors. In addition, this school also conducts Marine Engineering Specialization Course (MESC), Acting Sub Lieutenant (Tech) Course, BRCC (E and SW) and other special courses. Every year about 562 trainees complete different types of courses in this school.
Objectives

To impart knowledge on operation and maintenance of engineering equipment and machinery used in the navy

To enable the trainees to understand the theoretical and practical aspects of naval engineering and ship construction.

To impart knowledge about life at sea. To enhance naval knowledge.

To keep trainees physically and mentally fit to shoulder responsibilities assigned to them.

To specialize the young officers of Engineering Branch with sound professional and administrative knowledge to meet the responsibilities of Engineer Officer (EO) afloat
