Engineer Centre and School of Military Engineering (ECSME)
The aim of this institution is to provide basic military and combat engineering training, initial trade training, advance engineering and technical training to all ranks (officers, junior commissioned officer, others ranks including Military Engineering Services (MES) personnel and recruits) of Corps of Engineers and counter improvised explosive device related training to all arms, sister services and civil department.

ECSME, the Home of Sappers is an ideal centre for military and combat engineering knowledge for the Officers, Junior Comissioned Officers and Other Ranks of Corps of Engineers and an ideal centre for engineering management for Military Engineering service persons. The Home of Sappers is built for preparing smart, skilled and trained combat engineers for the Corps. ECSME is located at Qadirabad Cantonment, Dayarampur, Bagatipara, Natore.

To impart basic field engineering and combat engineering knowledge to young officers of Engineer Corps.
