About Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT)

Peacekeeping Operation Training Centre (PKOTC) started its journey on 24 June 1999 to train the peacekeepers of Bangladesh. To meet the global need of peacekeeping training, PKOTC was remodeled and renamed as Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT) in the year 2002 with a vision to promote global peace and security as an international ‘Center of Excellence’ for training of national and multinational participants.

To establish an institute of international standard to provide tactical / operational level of peace support training.

To develop a faculty of research on peace and conflict studies.

To enable the potential Contingent Commanders to perform effectively in mission area
