About Army Service Corps Centre and School

Army Service Corps Centre and School (ASCC&S) was organized and raised on 16 December 1976 from “ASC Base Unit” in Dhaka Cantonment. Later, it was shifted to its present location at Jahanabad Cantonment, Khulna. Army Service Corps Centre and School is comprised of four basic wings namely Army Service Corps School, Training Battalion, Army Service Corps Records and Administrative Wing.

Objectives

To provide basic training to the newly commissioned officers of Army Service Corps.

To conduct Sergeants’ Course and Warrant Officers’ Course.

To train drivers of infantry, Army Medical Corps and Military Police.

To conduct Catering Courses for the cook of all arms/services.

Courses Offered

Officers’ Basic Course

To train newly commissioned Officers of Army Service Corps on essential professional subjects and prepare them as capable and effective members of ASC to perform assigned duties and responsibilities in the unit.
