The aim of School of Artillery is to train junior and mid-level officers with a view to making them proficient on basic and advance gunnery, tactics, command, leadership & management.
About Artillery Centre and School (AC&S)
The glorious journey of the School of Artillery started in the month of March 1974 in Jashore Cantonment. School of Artillery provides training to all officers, selected Junior Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Officers of the regiment of Artillery both at basic and advance gunnery level. Currently Artillery Centre and School is located at a beautiful site at Halishahar in the port city of Chattogram.

Courses Offered
Officers’ Gunnery Staff Course (Air Defence)
To train selected officers to be qualified as instructor Gunnery, staff officers of various Headquarters and Commanding Officer of Air Defence units.

Officers’ Basic Course (Air Defence)
To train newly commissioned officers of air defence branch of the Regiment of Artillery on equipment, drill, procedures and tactical doctrine of air defence artillery regiment.

To train selected officers to be qualified as Instructor Gunnery, staff officers of various Headquarters and Commanding Officer of field / medium regiment or Officer Commanding of locating battery.

To train officers on equipment, drill, procedures and tactical employment of survey and Radar systems.
