About Army Aviation School

The Army Aviation School (AAS) of the Bangladesh Army, established in 1999, plays a vital role in training and developing aviation personnel for military operations. The school provides specialised training in both fixed wing aircrafts and helicopter operations, flight safety, maintenance, and aviation tactics, equipping personnel with the skills necessary for both combat and non-combat missions. Located in Dhaka, its curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including navigation, aerial reconnaissance, airlift operations, and flight management, ensuring that officers and aircrew are prepared for diverse operational scenarios.

Aviation Basic Course

Flying Instructor Course

To train military aviators as flying instructors
