To provide signal training facilities for all ranks of the Corps of Signals and signal personnel of other Arms and Services. To carry out research and development in the field of telecommunications and make publications on concept, doctrine, signal technology and tactics.
About Signal Training Centre and School (STC&S)
Signal Training Centre and School (STC&S) is the institution which has been entrusted with the responsibilities of training of all ranks of the Corps of Signals and selected individuals of other Arms and Services of Bangladesh Army on signal matters. This institution was raised in Dhaka Cantonment on 01 November 1976 and subsequently moved to its present location Jashore Cantonment on 26 March 1979. STC&S achieved the National Standard in 1997.

Officers’ Basic Course
To impart basic signal training to newly commissioned officers of Corps of Signals with a view to making them efficient in planning and provisioning of signal communication and information technology support to a brigade within the framework of a division including functioning of signal unit.

Officers Information and Communication Technology Advance Course (Network)
To impart advance level training on setting up, maintenance and manage server based computer network and to impart knowledge on network security.

Information Communication and Technology Network Technician Course (Non-Commissioned Officers/Other Rank)
To impart basic training on establishing and maintenance a small computer network to selected Junior Commissioned Officers /Other Ranks of all Arms and Services.
